Common Issues

Installation Failed - Technical Issue

This usually indicates a database or configuration issue. Please try:

  • Wait 5 minutes and try installing again
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies
  • Try using a different browser
  • Contact support if the issue persists
Cart Banner Not Appearing

The cart banner has some requirements to display:

  • Banner only shows for customers in the United States
  • Your PrizeBee subscription must be active
  • The PrizeBee Cart Banner app embed must be enabled in Theme Settings → App Embeds
Entries Not Being Created

Entries are only created when:

  • Customer opts-in via the cart banner checkbox
  • Order total meets the configured threshold
  • Payment is successfully captured (not just authorized)
Compliance Questions

PrizeBee is designed to be GDPR compliant:

  • All PII is encrypted at rest using pgcrypto
  • Customer data requests are handled automatically
  • Data deletion requests remove all customer entries
